Thought this might resonate - this is from Scroll 19 of my project The Hidden Clinic. I wrote it as a prayer—not a statement. Not for applause. Just rhythm for witness. https://thehiddenclinic.substack.com/p/to-the-ones-who-were-set-on-fire

You’re beautiful because when I read your words…I hear your voice.

Each phrase matches what was just coming to my mind.

If my heart carved a woman from the sky

You’d fall to the ocean somewhere along Oahu

And lay atop me on some log I never got up from

Like they left me there covered in mold now, a decade sooner

Real ugliness goes to end and reciprocates nothing short of pure gold across history

So we never die old to begin with

Death came in the womb for us both

Unable to live in a world alone

🌹 Happy Birthday

Life’s worst irony,

Love

what a beautiful heartfelt piece ❤️ giving ourselves permission to do it ugly. I love doing things ugly and learning how we have trapped ourselves thinking that things are only worth it when we do them perfectly or when it is aesthetic. some of the most beautiful things in life aren't aesthetically pleasing. my writing is terrible, when I'm inspired I write and it looks so ugly that it's embarrassing. some days I spend the whole day in my pyamas and with messy hair and some of those days are really fucking worth it: i will rest, i will think, i will write poetry or music. let it be ugly✨

"What would my life be like, if I let Life move me in the way music moves a dancer?"

I needed these words today - so beautiful, thank you <3
